Emergency Drain Unblocking and Repair Services in Surrey

Emergency Drain Unblocking

There’s nothing quite like the sinking feeling of watching water rise instead of drain away. A blocked drain doesn’t wait for a convenient time to happen, and left alone it can quickly lead to overflowing water, bad smells, and knock-on problems elsewhere in the system.

That’s why we offer emergency drain unblocking around the clock, whether it’s a blocked toilet, a sink that won’t clear, or something further down the line in your external drains or sewer pipes. Depending on what’s causing the blockage, we’ll use rodding, mechanical cleaning or high-pressure water jetting to get things flowing again. And if the blockage keeps coming back, we won’t just clear it and leave — we’ll investigate what’s really going on, whether that’s a damaged pipe, root ingress, or something else entirely.

Drain Cleaning & High-Pressure Water Jetting

Over time, drains pick up all sorts — grease, fat, silt, scale, soap scum — and it builds up inside the pipework until things start slowing down. A professional clean clears all that out and gets your drainage working the way it should.

High-pressure water jetting is our go-to method here. It uses focused, powerful jets of water to break up stubborn deposits and flush them straight through the system. It’s brilliant for clearing an existing blockage, but it also works well as preventative maintenance, stopping problems before they start.

We handle both residential jobs and heavier commercial drains — the kind you find behind restaurants, commercial kitchens and busy managed properties.

CCTV Drain Surveys

Sometimes the best way to understand what’s happening underground is to actually see it — without digging up the garden to do so. That’s where our CCTV drain surveys come in. We send a specialist camera down through the drainage system, giving us eyes on cracks, displaced joints, collapsed sections, root ingress and any other issues lurking out of sight.

These surveys are especially useful if a drain keeps blocking for no obvious reason, if there’s a persistent smell you can’t explain, if you suspect rats might be getting in through the drains, or if you simply want to know the condition of a pipe before committing to repairs.

Once we’re done, we can provide you with the footage, a clear rundown of anything we found, and our recommendations for next steps.

Drain Repairs & Drain Lining

Here’s some good news: a damaged drain doesn’t automatically mean digging up your driveway or garden. In a lot of cases, drain lining or a targeted patch repair can fix cracks, damaged joints and other defects from the inside, without any excavation at all.

Essentially, drain lining creates a brand-new, sealed surface within the existing pipe. We’ll always inspect the drain first to work out exactly where the damage is and how bad it is before recommending anything. And if a pipe has properly collapsed or shifted out of position, we’ll be upfront that lining isn’t the right call — in those cases, excavation and replacement will do the job properly.

Sewer Pipe Repairs

A broken or collapsed sewer pipe is one of those problems that tends to make itself known — recurring blockages, leaks, unpleasant smells, wastewater where it shouldn’t be. When that happens, we’ll investigate to find out exactly what’s failed and figure out the best way to put it right.

Some issues can be resolved without any digging at all, using no-dig repair methods. Others, particularly badly damaged or collapsed sections, will need excavating and replacing. Either way, we usually start with a CCTV inspection to pinpoint the damage precisely, so we avoid unnecessary digging and know exactly what we’re dealing with. We take on sewer repairs for both homes and businesses.

Tree Root Removal From Drains in Surrey

Drain Root Removal

Roots are surprisingly resourceful. Given half a chance — a crack, a damaged joint, even the smallest gap between pipe sections — they’ll find their way into a drain and keep on growing, gradually restricting the flow until you’re left with recurring blockages.

We’ll inspect the system to find out where the roots have got in and how far the problem has spread, then clear them out using the right combination of cutting equipment, mechanical tools or high-pressure jetting. Afterwards, we’ll take another look at the pipe — if the roots got in through damage, we’ll let you know whether lining or another repair makes sense to stop it happening again.

Manhole Benching Services in Surrey

Manhole Benching

Not the most glamorous part of a drainage system, but an important one. Manhole benching is the shaped concrete surface at the bottom of a manhole that helps guide wastewater into the channel while keeping debris from piling up around the chamber.

When benching becomes damaged, poorly shaped, or simply worn down over time, it can contribute to standing waste and blockages. We inspect existing manholes, repair any defective benching, and rebuild damaged sections where needed — including cases where previous work or general wear has affected how pipes enter the chamber.

Surrey Pest Control for Rats in Drains

Pest Control for Rats in Drains

Rats are remarkably good at finding their way through sewers and drains between properties, and broken pipework, displaced joints or poorly sealed connections can give them exactly the route they need.

If you’re hearing or seeing rats around toilets, kitchens, wall cavities or drainage areas, a CCTV drain survey is often the quickest way to find out whether your drainage is the culprit. We’ll check the pipework for damage and possible entry points, then recommend a fix — that could mean repairing or lining a damaged section, sealing off a redundant connection, or fitting measures specifically designed to keep rats from making their way back.

Commercial Drain Cleaning Services in Surrey

Pre-Purchase Drain Surveys

Buying a property is stressful enough without discovering a drainage disaster six months after moving in. A pre-purchase drain survey gives you a clear picture of what’s going on underground before you sign anything.

Issues like cracked pipes, displaced joints, root ingress and partial collapses rarely show up during a normal viewing or building survey — but a CCTV inspection will pick them up. Armed with that information, you’ll have a much better understanding of the property’s true condition, and any costs that might otherwise catch you out later.

Storm Drain Cleaning

Leaves, mud, silt and general debris have a way of finding their way into storm drains, surface water pipes and gullies — and once they build up, the system struggles to cope. That’s usually when you start noticing water pooling around driveways, car parks, paths and yards during heavy rain.

We clean out storm drainage systems and clear away the build-up using the right equipment and jetting techniques. This is particularly worthwhile for commercial premises, managed developments, and any property surrounded by trees or prone to collecting debris. If drainage is still struggling after a clean, we’ll dig a bit deeper (not literally, unless we need to) to check for damage or other underlying issues.

Septic Tank Emptying

If your Surrey property runs on a septic tank rather than mains sewerage, regular emptying isn’t optional — it’s essential. Left too long, sludge and waste build up, drainage performance drops off, and eventually you’re dealing with bad smells, backed-up drains or overflow.

We offer septic tank emptying for suitable properties, with the right frequency depending on the size of your tank, how many people are using the property, and how heavily the system gets used. It’s also a handy opportunity to spot early warning signs before they turn into a bigger problem.

Drain Servicing and Maintenance in Surrey

Drain Maintenance & Servicing

A little regular maintenance goes a long way toward avoiding drainage headaches down the line. This is especially true for restaurants, commercial kitchens, hotels and managed properties, where drains are dealing with a much heavier load of wastewater, grease and food residue than your average home.

A typical maintenance visit might include drain cleaning, high-pressure jetting, a CCTV check, and a look at any areas that have given trouble before. How often you need this depends on how hard your system works and its history of problems. The upside of planned maintenance is simple: you deal with issues on your own schedule, rather than waiting for a blockage or overflow to force the issue.

Commercial Drain Cleaning Services in Surrey

Commercial Drainage Services

We work with businesses, landlords, managing agents and commercial properties on everything from emergency call-outs to planned, ongoing maintenance.

Commercial systems tend to take a real beating — think restaurants, hotels, leisure facilities, offices, schools and multi-occupancy buildings, all putting far more strain on drainage than a typical household. Our commercial offering covers blocked drain clearance, cleaning, CCTV surveys, repairs, root removal and scheduled maintenance. If a property keeps running into the same issue, we’ll dig into the underlying cause rather than just treating the symptoms — and we can plan work around your operational hours where needed.
